The Index Page is very important, it connects me with my server, Yahoo. I have been with Yahoo for 15 years, and I am very pleased with my webhosting site.
First Visitors on May 1, 1996:
When I came here, from AOL my count was 60,000.
It now exceeds that here at Yahoo, well 'over a million'.
We are setting up this large site www.sconemac.com, featuring all our articles and information, with much more room, new articles and many new ideas are being formulated now. Please forgive the background is missing, we are working on it on all pages. I hope you will enjoy and return often. This is a non-profit website, just for you.
About my nickname......Scone, from the Ancient City of Scone, Scotland.......not the dessert! The ancient palace, ancient center of Scottish Highlands, lies in ruins in Perthshire, but may still be seen, if the astute visitor looks diligently, to find the ruins treasure. The newer Scone palace pictured above.
Here's freedom to him that wad read,
Here's freedom to him that wad write,
There's nan ever fear'd the truth should be heard
But they wham the truth wad indite.
- Robert Burns
I HAVE SEEN AN ACCUSATION THAT MY AWARDS WERE FALSE OR I MADE THEM UP...remark made by screen names "Our Scotland" and "Scots Traveler". I want to assure everyone who comes here to my website will be looking at awards I DID receive, no fakes. Problem is, I have had my website up since 1995, and some of the award sites have folded. From 1995 until approximately 2004 many web sites have gone down. That does not demean their award, and I will honor those awards. Bruce (Our Scotland, Scots Traveler) be damned!
